HomeWorks offers rental opportunities in six communities: Barron, Clayton, Colfax, Ellsworth, Glenwood City, and Rice Lake. Each site features thoughtfully designed, energy-efficient townhomes and apartments.

Rents are set at levels that are affordable for low and moderate-income families - based on apartment size and qualifying household income.

Homeworks provides rental and management services for our buildings and utilizes a resident assisted management system.

Sunrise Meadow – Barron

Sunrise Meadow Homes are located on the north edge of Barron in an attractive rural setting. The site consists of six buildings with 24 apartments. The development includes twelve spacious three-bedroom town homes, and twelve one and two bedroom single level town homes. There are eleven single car garages available to tenants.

These units also include efficient kitchen and heating appliances, including: fully equipped kitchen, range, refrigerator, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. In-floor radiant heat is included in the rent.

CAP Town Homes – Clayton

The site is located on a lot overlooking Lake Camelia in Clayton, Wisconsin. The eight town homes have private home entries, individual patio areas, a commons area and off street parking. Each town home is a two-story design with 1,368 square feet. Each has three bedrooms, two baths, and a generous inside storage area. Also included are refrigerator, range with hood/fan units, and washer/dryer hookups.

Colfax Prairie Homes

This development is located on the south edge Colfax.
Situated just off Park Street, the apartments are just east
of the IGA Store and the First American Bank. The
site has five buildings with a total of 24 units. Four
buildings are in the townhouse style, and one is an
eight-unit, two story apartment building. Eleven single
car garages are available to tenants as well as off street
parking. There is also a common area outside for
potential gardening and a play area for children

One, two and three bedroom apartment units or
townhouses are available. Each is designed to blend
energy efficiency with resident comfort. Barrier free accessible units are available. Laundry hooks are provided, as well as an on-site laundry. Each unit includes fully equipped kitchen, range, refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and in-floor radiant heat.

Trillium Green - Ellsworth

This development is located on the north edge of the City of Ellsworth, just off of Highway 65. Trillium Green consists of six 4-unit buildings with either one, two, or three-bedroom units available. The one-bedroom units are 720 square feet, the two-bedrooms are 880 square feet and the three-bedrooms are 1360 square feet. Each unit has a one-car garage attached and a private entry. The layout of the six buildings creates a center commons area for the tenants and a play area for the children. Cedar Meadow – Rice Lake

This site is located on the southern portion of Rice Lake and is within walking distance of the Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College and the University of Wisconsin – Barron County. There are 2 three-story buildings each containing 12 two-bedroom units, which are connected by a common corridor that contains an efficiency unit. Each unit measures 740 square feet, has eight-foot ceiling height, and is individually metered for electricity. Units are individually heated by electric baseboard heating and are equipped with range, refrigerator, and trash pick up. An off-street asphalt parking lot is available to all tenants and there is a coin operated laundry room located on the lower level.
