Food Pantry List | How to get assistance | Special Projects | Background

Food Pantries and outlets provide services to anyone who is facing a crisis or emergency and meets the income eligibility guidelines of 185% of the federal poverty level.

Income levels are self-declared. Each person will be asked to fill out an application form, and some type of address verification will be required. This can include a rent receipt, utility bill, photo ID, or some other item. Pantry staff will help determine if you meet current income guidelines.

Pantries are usually able to provide a 3-5 day supply of food, which may include fresh vegetables, dairy products and meat. Each recipient is generally eligible to receive emergency food from a pantry up to once a month based on need.

Getting Involved As A Community Volunteer
Local food pantries depend on volunteers and donations. If you are interested in learning more about how you can help support hunger prevention programs in your community, or if you are a member of a church, organization, or business that would like to support your local food pantry, contact our Program Coordinator, Melissa Wyss at 715-265-4271 (ext. 329).
